Luumtextiles.com is an e-commerce website serving the US & Canada. Credit card purchases are made online by creating an account and logging in. For purchase order transactions, in addition to creating an account and logging in, a credit application must be submitted and approved. Once that account is set up, orders go through the website.


Account Set Up

 

Luum Textiles offers two types of accounts, based on method of payment; Credit Card payment account; or Purchase Order payment account.

  • To pay by Credit Card online, no credit application process is required. Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are accepted. Set up an account with us by clicking on “Sign Up” in the main menu, provide your details and determine a password. Shop, fill your cart and pay with a credit card at check out. No Customer Number is required for this kind of account. Your login and password are enough.

    NOTE: Luum Textiles is unable to accept credit card information over the phone due to our security policy. Some special purchases cannot be completed through the website: If you have tax exemption certificates to register with us, or will be interested in applying special finishes on our products, then please apply for a Purchase Order payment account.

  • To pay by Purchase Order, there is a two step process to create an account. You must create a login & password and also apply for a credit account with us to receive a Luum Textiles Customer Number. Select “Sign Up” in the main menu. At the bottom of the new screen is a link that reads, “To register for a Luum Textiles Credit Account.” Click on the link to download the form. Then create a login & password for you online access. When that is done, you may proceed to complete the downloaded form,, send it to the email address noted along with any tax exemption certificates that apply to your ship to jurisdictions. Luum Textiles will need two to four business days to verify the information and, upon credit approval, will provide you with a Customer Number. When you shop on the website, you will enter your Customer Number and Purchase Order reference number as you move through the Check Out process.

  • After setting up your account, browse and shop on the website. Place purchases in the Shopping Cart until you are ready to commit to the order and Check Out. The Shopping Cart may be edited before the order is submitted.

Ordering Samples

 

9”x9” memo samples are available for each product. Navigate to the product page and select “Memo Sample”, indicate the required quantity, add it to your cart and check out as normal. If a memo of every colorway for a particular pattern is required, please select “Full Memo Set”.

All samples are free and are shipped standard freight free of charge for qualified customers. Standard freight is ground delivery. There is an option to expedite the freight (overnight, for example) at customer’s own cost. This option is in the second step of the check out procedure. Payment can be made by credit card on the website.

NOTE​: Clients may be pre-qualified and there will be a restriction to a quantity 5 of the same sample SKU and an overall limit to 30 samples per order.

Ordering Yardage

 

To purchase textile yardage (leather is sold by the square foot) for a project, click the radial button for “Yardage” and enter the number of linear yards desired. Minimum order quantity for textiles is one linear yard. Leather is sold by the square foot and has a minimum required order quantity of 45 square feet. Freight for yardage is paid for by the customer. The second step of the check-out process includes quotes for FED-EX freight options.

Check Out Process

 
  • Click on your Shopping Cart

  • If you pay by Credit Card, please click Check Out, then click OK when the confirmation dialogue box appears.

    If you pay by Purchase Order, please fill in your Customer Number and PO number for this purchase, then click Check Out.

  • If you are not logged in to your account already, you will be prompted to do so.

  • Enter the shipping information for this order and click “Continue to Shipping Method”

  • Choose the appropriate shipping method based on the quotes provided and click “Continue to Payment Method”

  • Enter your payment information and billing information and click “Complete Order”

  • A confirmation page appears that notes your order number and an automatic email is sent to you confirming your order was received.

Please note that as a privacy & security measure, we do not accept credit card information verbally, but will support your use of the website for credit card purchases. If you have a Purchase Order payment account and require proforma invoices, etc, then Customer Service will work with you in completing your orders.

Order Origination Location vs. Shipping Location

 

Our website defaults to shipping orders within the country it is ordered from. If an order needs to be shipped across borders, please place your order by speaking with our Customer Service department at 1-877-705-LUUM (1-877-705-5886).

Forgotten Passwords

 

Choose “My Account” from the top right corner of the Products area. From there, click the "Forgot your Password?" link under the Returning Customers section. You will be prompted to fill in your email address and will be sent instructions for resetting your password.

Website Security

 

Luum Textiles has taken measures to ensure that the data you provide is secure and protected against misuse. Your login and address information is stored in a secure server that is audited by a third party security company. Luum Textiles does not store your credit information on its site and all transactions are made over a secure Internet connection using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. Minimum Order Requirements

 

Minimum Order for Cut Yardage is 1 (one) yard per color.
Minimum Order for Leather is 45 square feet per color.

Delivery & Lead Times

 

How Will My Order be Delivered?
Luum Textiles are shipped via FedEx. A tracking number via FedEx will be provided. Shipping and handling charges are based on the weight and size of your order. The delivery costs are based on FedEx shipping and handling charges. Samples are shipped standard ground delivery unless you chose to pay for expedited shipping during the check out process.

How long will it take to receive my order?
In-stock products are processed and leave our facility within 2 business days of receiving your order. Depending on the final ship to destination the product can take between 3-6 business days to arrive after receiving an order confirmation email. For additional enquiries, please contact customer service at 1-877-705-5886. If an ordered product is out of stock, Customer Service will contact you to arrange an appropriate ship date.

Taxes, Tariffs & Duties

 

When placing your order, we estimate sales tax based upon the jurisdiction of the shipping address. All sales tax calculations are subject to revision and are recalculated on the day your order is shipped. Many jurisdictions require that we collect sales tax on shipping charges.

If you are tax exempt and have sent us a tax-exempt certificate for the ship-to jurisdiction, taxes will not be charged. Tax exemptions are applicable for orders received by Purchase Order only.

Are Tariffs or Duties Added to My Order?
All tariffs and duties are included in the per-yard price.

Order Status

 

You will receive periodic e-mails indicating the status of your order. If you would like to see up-to-date status, click the "My Account" link in the top right-hand menu of the Luum Textiles website. From there, login, and your list of current orders will be available.

International Shipments
